歌の会の皆さん、こんにちは。
昨日、病院で病気と痛みに苦しんでいる他の歌の会の友人からフェイスブック・メッセンジャーの通話がありました。実は私たちは一度も会ったことがないのですが、図形音符を歌う人はとても強い絆で結ばれているので、それはもう問題ではありません。彼女は私に一緒にセイクレッド・ハープの歌を歌ってくれないかと尋ねました。私はその時、スーパーにいたのですが、階段の隅へ行き、電話越しに二部ハーモニーで歌いました。今週末の私たちの歌の会にも参加できると伝えると、彼女は今度の日曜日にまたフェイスブック・メッセンジャーでセイクレッド・ハープを歌いたいと言ってくれました。
歌うことは本当に素晴らしい薬です。ですから、参加できる方は、これ以上ないほど感謝されます。

Greetings, singers
Yesterday, I got a Facebook call from a singing friend who is sick and in pain in the hospital. We’ve actually never met, but shape-note singers feel such a close bond that it almost doesn’t matter. She asked if I would sing a Sacred Harp song with her. I was in a grocery store at the time, but I went over to a stairwell and we sang in two-part harmony over the phone. I told her she could join our singings this weekend and she said she’d like to sing Sacred Harp again by Facebook Messenger this Sunday. Singing is some mighty good medicine, so anyone who can join us will be extra appreciated.
Our March schedule being a copy of February’s, we will again sing two days back to back:
