今年も下北沢音楽祭に、東京図形音符・歌の会が帰ってきます。

⚠️ 日程についてのご注意
通常の月例歌の会は第2土曜日ですが、7月は音楽祭の日程に合わせて変更しております。また、音楽祭公式サイトには14:00開始と記載されていますが、東京図形音符の出番は２番目なので、我々の出演は16:00からとなります。どうぞお間違えのないようご注意ください。
平和に捧げる、歌の時間
第一番目の団体、14:00の出演は戦争放棄を願った「九条のうた合唱団」。今という時代に向き合いながら、私たちの団体もまた、この歌の会を平和への集いとして歌いたいと思います。
普段歌っている様子を公開します。日本語の歌や英語の讃美歌を歌います。「ちょっと聴いてみたい」でも、「一緒に歌ってみたい」でも、どちらでも大歓迎。お気軽にお立ちよりください。参加費無料。
事前に曲を聴いてみたい方へ、選曲リストと音源リンクをご用意しました。各曲には全パート合唱版・パート別の合成音声音源を掲載しています。声を重ねてみたら—美しい衝動が...。

Tokyo Shape-Note Singers are back at the Shimokitazawa Music Festival — and this year, we’re singing for peace.
📅Saturday, July 4・4:00-6:00 p.m.

⚠️ Please note: We normally meet on the second Saturday of the month, but we’ve shifted our July singing to join the festival. Also, the festival website lists a 2:00 p.m. start — that’s a different group. We (you!) sing from 4:00 p.m. Don’t miss us!
A Singing Dedicated to Peace
The 2:00 p.m. group is the Article 9 Choir — named for the article in Japan’s Constitution that renounces war. In these unsettled times, we feel the same call and we’re dedicating this singing to peace.
We’re drawing from hymns and songs, in English and Japanese, that speak directly to peace, or that hold up the tender, irreplaceable goodness of ordinary life — itself the most eloquent argument against war.
No Auditions. No Fees. No Rehearsal. Just Sing.
We’ll be sharing a glimpse of our regular singing sessions. Whether you’re just curious to give it a listen or want to sing along, all are welcome, so please feel free to stop by.
For those who’d like to listen to the songs in advance, we’ve prepared a song list and links to the audio files above. For each song, we’ve included both a full harmony version and individual part tracks with synthesized vocals. Try singing to the music and just let that beautiful impulse take over!
