First Tokyo All-Day Singing

We're delighted to host our first all-day Sacred Harp singing here in Tokyo!

Join us for a day of singing at Ikebukuro Anglican Church (Ikebukuro Seikōkai) on Saturday, November 18th, 2017. We plan to start at 10:30, take a break for lunch (the first ever Japanese "dinner on the ground") and then keep singing till 4. After that we'll go to a local izakaya to socialise into the evening.

Then the next day, we'll sing a half day from the 7-shape Christian Harmony and other foreign and Japanese songs transcribed into 7-shape shape notes, hiragana, and roman letters. That's

Afterwards, we plan to go to the underground passage between Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace and just start singing.

Our usual monthly singing will be the Thursday before (the 16th).
