昨日の七図形の歌の会の日付を間違えて書いてしまって、ごめんなさい！ でも、幸いにも２人の方が来てくださって、一緒に楽しく歌えました。ありがとうございます！

さて、次の会は

2025年11月16日（日）（今度はちゃんと確認しました！） 15:30〜17:30 セント・オルバンズ教会（St. Alban’s Church） 東京都港区芝公園3-6-25 今回は特別なニュースがあります！

ジョージア州から有名なセイクリッド・ハープのシンガー、Lisa T. BennettさんとDavid Smeadさんが、歌会の１時間前に羽田空港に到着予定なんです。

Lisaさんにそのことを伝えたら、「間に合えばぜひ立ち寄って一緒に歌いたい！」とのことでした。

もし時間が合えば、本当に素晴らしい機会になりそうです。遅れて来ても歓迎します。

これは図形音符の歌の会は「演奏会」ではなく、ただ一緒に歌うための集まりです。

みんなで気持ちよく歌いましょう。ご参加お待ちしています！

Sorry, everyone, for writing the wrong dates for yesterday’s seven-shape singing. Fortunately, it didn’t stop two people from coming. And we hope you’ll all come out for our Sacred Harp and Shenandoah Harmony four-shape singing next Sunday,

November 16, 2025 (I double-checked) 3:30-5:30 pm St. Alban’s Church 3-6-25 Shibakōen Minato Ward, Tokyo

It just so happens that the prominent Georgia Sacred Harp singers, Lisa Bennett and David Smead, are scheduled to arrive in Haneda Airport from the US an hour before we sing. After I told Lisa that, she thought they’d try to swing on by and sing with us, but a lot of things would have to align just right to make it in time. Even if they arrive late, they want to try. So I hope you all can join our singing. Remember, shape-note singing isn’t a performance. We just sing because we like to.
